Keyword optimization: Be wise in optimizing the keywords for your site. Optimise the most relevant and competitive keywords for your website. Long tail keywords are beneficial in terms of PPC.
Title tags : You can place your keyword phrase in your title tags but be sure that it should be in limit of 65 characters as crawler takes only 65 characters.
- Use the most relevant keywords in your page title.
- Meta description should be unique and of very good quality that can describe your page in short and smartly. Meta description should be only of 1-2 sentences.
- Be wise in using H1 tags, The most important and competitive keywords should be targeted in H1 tag and only one H1 tag in a page.
- Always keep easy Page navigation and it is better to prefer text based navigation.
Page content: Make sure that the page content should be unique and relevant. Be wise in using keywords in your content. Content should be in between 300-400 words with 3-5% of keywords. If you are using images on your page then always use alt tag for them so that crawler can know about image. Avoid the use of flash, crawler is not going to count it.
Updating the site content on a regular basis will give you benefits.
